Oops, I made another accidental blogging hiatus, but hello! I’ve returned!
Off to Stirling!
So today I took a train for the first time since arriving in Edinburgh! (Actually, took any form of public transit for the first time — and any transit since I took a taxi to my flat!)
Stress, Organizing, Adventuring
Most anyone who knows me can attest that I like to plan things. Possibly to an excessive level — but it’s how I’ve always been. Or, at least, I can’t imagine a time when I behaved otherwise.
How to Learn
Apologies for not posting in a long while! I don’t have any true excuse for not doing so, but here’s a post now!
Graveyards
Something that’s been true of me for a while is my love of cemeteries. And I don’t mean that in some sort of creepy and ominous way. I like the calm they provide, and I often find them very beautiful.
Cooking (feat. Avocados)
I like cooking, quite a bit. It makes me feel happy/helps me destress/is fun. It’s certainly one of the things I look forward to most for when I’m living on my own.
Sunshine
The United Kingdom is not stereotypically known for it’s sunshine and beautiful weather. When I was applying to study over here, I heard many people tell me “oh boy, it’s gonna rain a lot while you’re over there”. And I assumed such things would be true.
After all, in my experience, I’d always heard how the United Kingdom and Ireland are places of poor weather and wind.
Two Weeks
So, I’ve been here just about two weeks (as of around 8am tomorrow, it will have been exactly two weeks), yipes! It still feels like this odd mixture of no time and all and as though I’ve been here for forever. I suppose that’s what the beginning of study abroad will do to you.
